Houston Rodeo

Last Friday, C.C. and I ventured out of 'The Woodlands Bubble" with our kids and drove down to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We made it through some traffic and crazy drivers and didn't even get lost! Go Us!! It was a good thing the AGventure and kids stuff was all inside because it was SUPER cold and way windy that morning! Once we finally got inside and took a look at our surroundings, we realized there had to be 500 schools, 50,000 kids, and oh, maybe 10 adults in that place. So, before we ate lunch we tried to see what we could, then ate some lunch, enjoyed some dip n' dots, then headed back to the animals. The schools were gone (most of them) so we enjoyed the little extra space and the kids actually got to look at and pet the animals. The petting zoo was a big hit with Hunter as was the little baby chicks. We actually got to see them hatching...what a cool thing to see! On the way home, Hunter was asleep in about 10 min, and from what I hear Parks didn't even make it that long before he was snoozin'.
