4th of July Celebration

We enjoyed good times with our friends and neighbors on the 4th. Lee made some EXCELLENT onion rings and even better wings (smoked then deep fried! YUMMY!)

What Hunter had to eat on July 4th:
Breakfast-Candy from parade
Lunch-don't think he ate lunch
Dinner-Cheetos, chips, popsicle

Nice.

Oh...I guess he had some water to drink too

Happy 4th!

4th of July Parade

Hunter and I headed out to The Woodlands 4th of July parade with our neighbor Karla on Friday. Hunter had a blast watching and waving at all the fire trucks, and of course, eating all the candy everyone was throwing out! Nice breakfast, huh? :)

We found the perfect place to sit, next to a running buddy of mine I haven't seen in forever. Here's Hunter waiting for the parade to start, eating (stealing) ice out of The West Family ice chest.

These guys threw out money...Hunter made $1.50!!!

These guys blew out nice cold air on everyone!

Kerrville!

We had a fantastic trip up to the river to see PaPa, Mena, Uncle Chris, and Aunt Jenny! The weather was perfect for us...it was so nice to be out of this Houston humidity!!!! The dogs had a blast chasing deer and eachother. Lilly loves to swim and Daisy likes to bark (very loud) at Lilly while she's swimming. (very annoying!) Hunter, I think, had the most fun of all! He was able to get in the river for the first time and loved playing with his Mena and PaPa, and of course Aunt Jenny and Uncle Chris (once he warmed up to him with all that (scary) facial hair :) ) Thanks Uncle Chris and Aunt Jenny for bringing your boat...we all had a blast in it!!!

Enjoy the pictures!

Hunter enjoying the best invention EVER! Thanks so much Irie and Parks for letting us borrow your DVD player!

Apparently when you're a little boy at the river you must take all your clothes off and run around hitting people with noodles

Hunter's 1st time in the river! He totally LOVED it! YEA!!!! Aunt Jenny even taught him how to "kick, kick, kick"

Just a classic hangin' out on the dock picture, of course eating. What else do you do at the river? Even at Thanksgiving, right, Chris? :)

How's this for all boy?? Did you know that it's way fun after you get wet to go pick up handfuls of dirt and throw them up in the air, then rub your hands all over your face? This is my new favorite picture :)
